The Frontiersman Cardigan Pattern
Create your own custom cardigan with our original frontier-inspired design, using our fun, easy-to-read graph pattern! This original design was created using Mary Maxim Northland yarn, which had 80 yds per skein at that time. But now, with a larger variety of bulky yarns to choose from, you can customize this project to match your unique style. Keep in mind that yardage may differ. We recommend Mary Maxim Titan! Material List: Sz 8 MC (5 skeins), Sz 10 (6 skeins), Sz 12 (7 skeins). All sizes: Frontiersman (1 skein), Trees (1 skein). All you need are U.S. sizes 6 (4 mm) and 9 (5.5 mm) needles to begin! Fits children sizes 8-10-12—Intermediate knit.
Stitch Requirements: Cast on, cast off, knit, purl, repeat, increase, decrease, slip, colour changes using Fair Isle and coloured pattern knitting methods.
